Breaking: Coronavirus lands in Sokoto

The deadly Coronavirus has landed in Sokoto, Governor Aminu Tambuwal said on Monday.

This is the first case to be recorded by Sokoto since the outbreak of the deadly pandemic.

The governor also revealed that the patient is receiving treatment at the Usmanu Danfodio teaching Hospital in Sokoto.

Currently, Nigeria has 665 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, with Lagos as the epicentre, with 376 confirmed cases.

So far, 188 people have been treated and discharged while 22 deaths have been recorded.
