Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the recent deaths in Kano, slamming the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) for under-performing.
He said he wasn’t surprised that people in Kano, Nigeria are dying like flies, as NCDC is yet to reopen its testing centre.
…enforced with reasonable palliatives and support from the FG to help the poor and needy. Anything short of this will lead to catastrophy and many more deaths. STAY IN, STAY CALM AND STAY SAFE!

He said more testing is required to fish out people infected with the virus.
According to him it was alarming that only 10,000 plus tests have been carried out, so far, in a country as large as Nigeria with a population of about 200 million.
Kano on Saturday reported many VIP deaths within 24 hours.
There are concerns in and out of Kano that the coronavirus pandemic may have been responsible for the deaths.
Fani-Kayode warned that Nigeria might face more catastrophes, if more tests are not done.
