Piers Morgan, host of popular ITV programme Good Morning Britain, has gone into isolation to await the results of a coronavirus test.
The presenter, 55, revealed this in a medical update he tweeted on Sunday night.
UPDATE: On medical advice, and out of an abundance of caution for a mild symptom that arose in past 48hrs, I’ve had a test for COVID-19 and so won’t be working on @GMB until I get the result back, which should be tomorrow.

Morgan has been a strong voice on both sides of the Atlantic, holding the British and U.S. government to account since the pandemic outbreak.
Famously, his critical comment against U.S. President Donald Trump’s handling of the crisis, earned him a rebuke from Trump, his friend.
Trump simply unfollowed him on Twitter.
