Ekiti ACN Senatorial Primary: Ojudu Pleads For Calm
Many voters in today’s Ekiti Central Senatorial Seat primary of the Action Congress of Nigeria waited patiently for voting materials to be supplied. One of the aspirants, Mr. Babafemi Ojudu appealed to his supporters to remain calm.
Reports have it that as at 11.30 this morning, voting materials had not yet arrived at wards in Ado Ekiti, venue of the primary.
Meanwhile, Ojudu while addressing his supporters in Ado Ekiti yesterday night asked his them not to embark on acts that will result in violence.
Four candidates are jostling for the ACN ticket to represent the Ekiti Central Senatorial District. They are, Mr. Babafemi Ojudu; former Commissioner for Information and Strategy in Lagos State, Mr. Dele Alake, his successor, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele and the incumbent, Senator Bode Ola, who is seeking a second term ticket.
