Coronavirus: NCDC warns against self-medication

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has warned Nigerians against self-medication while dealing with the new Coronavirus.

NCDC explained that medicines given by authorised medical personnel to patients with diseases including COVID-19, are dependent on individual conditions.

Meanwhile, Nigerians with the viral disease were also warned against self-medication on another person’s prescription.

The tweet reads; ‘’Remember, the medicines given by authorised medical personnel to patients with diseases including #COVID19, are dependent on individual conditions.

’’Please DO NOT engage in self-medication based on another person’s prescription as you can harm yourself”.
