Sylva Congratulates Jonathan
Governor Timipre Sylva of Bayelsa State has sent hearty congratulations to President Goodluck Jonathan on his victory at the presidential primary of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Bayelsa is home state of Dr. Jonathan.
In a statement issued on Friday morning in Abuja and signed by his Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Mr. Doifie Ola, Sylva described the outcome of the presidential primaries of the ruling PDP as a victory for all.
Sylva said: “At this moment, there is no victor and no vanquished. There is only the voice of a people trying to rediscover their God-given unity in diversity. I thank all PDP members from this vast entity – north, east, west and south – for choosing to be part of the history made today. God bless Nigeria.â€
