Pay Ad-Hoc Staff Their Allowances

The threat by youth corps members participating in the voter registration exercise to boycott the exercise due to non payment of their allowances should be taken seriously by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Even though the ad hoc staff have shelved the action, the threat should serve as a message to INEC that the youth corps members should not be taken for a ride and whatever is due to them should be given to them immediately.
Before they decided to call off the action, the youth corps members had planned to carry placards and abandon their duty posts to protest what they described as the nonchallant attitude of INEC over their welfare
