Iba Council Community Appeals For Water, Market

Residents of Igbo Elerin community in Iba Local Council Development Area of Lagos State have affirmed their loyalty and support to the state government and the national leader of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking with LG Circuit recently, the Oba-elect, Alhaji Sikiru Kolawole Ajagungbade Aina, hailed the endorsement of Fashola for a second term, saying that Tinubu, having laid the foundation, wanted somebody that would continue where he stopped and picked the governor who has not disappointed anybody.

He pointed out that in the last three years, Lagosians have benefited immensely in terms of infrastructure, assuring that a brighter and more rewarding future await them in the next four years the governor is expected to be at the helms of affairs in the state.

Aina thanked the state government for the construction of Agboroko/Igbo Elerin road, while he appealed for pipe borne water, modern market and employment for graduate youths in the community.

He charged residents who are yet to register to use the opportunity of the extension of the voter registration to do so to enable them elect their choice of candidates in the April 2011 general elections.
