Ifako Ijaiye Appeals To Tinubu, ACN
The people of Ifako Ijaiye Federal Constituency have appealed to the leadership of the Action Congress of Nigeria and leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to reconsider Hon. Morufudeen Adeola Adefolabi for a second term in the National Assembly.
Adefolabi is the incumbent representative of the constituency at the House of Representatives. The residents made this appeal during a political stakeholders meeting in the area recently.
The meeting was attended by political stalwarts, market men and women, youth groups, community leaders, members of PMAN and ANTP Ifako Ijaiye chapter among other groups.
They commended Asiwaju Tinubu for all his effort in taking the ACN to enviable heights.
Speaking on why they want Hon. Adeola Adefolabi for a second term, they said, “what we need is a person that is a grassroot mobilizer, who is accessible and who is vibrant. We don’t want somebody that will give us zero representation at the National Assembly.
The people commended Adefolabi and described him as a great man who has contributed in no small measure to the development of the area.
They applauded his contribution and support for security initiatives and educational advancement for both the young and the old in the constituency.
The people also lauded the former chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area for providing boreholes, road maintenance, security and scholarship award to the indigent in the area.
They said Adefolabi still remains the right and only credible candidate that will represent the constituency well and bring dividends of democracy to their doorsteps.
They urged the leadership of the ACN and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed to put their interest into consideration with utmost urgency.
