EFCC Arrests Ex-Works Minister

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested the former works minister, Dr. Lawan Hassan.
Spokesman of the commission, Mr Femi Babafemi, confirmed to P.M.NEWS at about 7:20pm today that Hassan is in their custody.
He did not disclose further details.
Sources said Hassan was arrested this morning in connection with an alleged $334 million (about N56 billion) fraud.
It was further gathered that operatives of the commission are still in search of his cronies involved in the alleged fraud.
