OOU Students Arrested Over Protest

The over six-months old strike by staff of universities degenerated into a war of sorts last Wednesday as angry students of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago Iwoye barricaded the permanent site of the school.
The protesting students are not happy with the way the state government and the school authorities disrupted their academic calendar.
During the protest, 12 students were arrested by policemen but were later released on bail in the sum of N5,000 each.
