Residents Hail Appointment Of Oshodi Regent

Residents of Oshodi in Oshodi Local Government Area of Lagos State have lauded the appointment of Chief Biliaminu Akinola as Regent of Oshodiland.

The residents, under the umbrella of Concerned Residents of Oshodi (CRO), said the nomination of Akinola by the Arota/Ologun Family was a blessing to the entire people of the area.

They described the decision of the Arota/Ologun Family as an answer to their prayers and assured the Regent of every needed support to actualise the success of his administration.

“God is with you. The Oshodi people need people like you in the administration of the area, especially those who can stand up to the challenges of the time to hearken to the yearnings and aspirations of the common people. May the grace and favour of God Almighty remain with you on this cause,” the residents declared in a statement signed by its chairman.

The new regent was presented to the public during the burial ceremony of the late Chief Musendiku Akinsode, the immediate past late regent.
