Ojodu Shock Onigbongbo FC

Ojodu Football Cloub showed the class they were made of, as they dispatched Onigbongbo boys by 3-0 at the Lagos Junior League played at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos on Wednesday.

Ojokwu David opened the flood gate of goals for Ojodu FC as early as the 6th minute of the game. The boys from Onigbongbo surged forward but their efforts were thwarted by their opponents.

Ojodu’s Micheal Igholido, added the second for his team in the 24th minute to extend his side lead.

The second half was dominated by Ojodu boys as they firmly control the match.Ojokwu David who scored the first goal increase his tally to two in the 51st minute to seal victory for the Ojodu team.

The woes of Onigbongbo boys were compounded when the team’s captain, Chiyerem Ugochukwu, was sent off in the game for a bad tackle on Segun Yusuf of Ojodu in the penalty area. David George of Ojodu could not convert spot kick. With this result, Ojodu LCDA remain at the top of Group C with 26 points, and the team look good to be part of the clubs that will play in the Premier League in August this year.
