The Chairmanship aspirant of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Lawal Lateef Alaba has joined Nigerians to condemn President Goodluck Jonathan’s description of Southwest governors as rascals at a campaign rally in Ibadan, Oyo State recently.

Alaba who said said the comment was unbecoming of president of a nation who should be a father to all, and that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, should rather be accused of parading rascals in powers going by how it has misruled the nation.

“It is unfortunate  that the head of our nation will make such a statement. I will be very glad if he can mention who the rascals are. In Ogun state, we see what is happening where parallel primaries were held and it took the court to decide which to recognise.

“We all know what is happening in Oyo and other southwest states. Osun, Edo, Ekiti had their elections nullified by the law courts and decisions were delivered in favour of ACN. so, who really are the rascals?” he asked.
