Ojodu, Agege Settle For Draw
The match between Ojodu FC and Agege Giants was a mere formality as both teams had already booked their respective places in the Premiership scheduled to kick off later in the year.
The match ,which was merely a battle of supremacy was full of entertainment with the dribbles and free flowing football.
The first half ended goalless as both teams played cautiously for fear of not losing even when they both know their place in the Premiership had already been guaranteed.
On resuming the second half, Ojodu’s Ighokido Michael opened scoring barely six minutes into the match. The encounter became a dingdong affair as Agege went in search of the equalizser.
Agege’s Taiwo Oderemi got the equaliser on the nick of 73rd minute and barely two minutes later their defenders went to sleep allowing Ojodu to go up again. Segun Yusuff mesmerised the backline of Agege before sending the goalkeeper the wrong way for Ojodu to go up.
The Agege Giants were not disturbed with their opponents going ahead.Tunde Bello scored the equaliser for the Agege Giants before the end of the second half.
