StarTimes Apologises To Subscribers, Gives 7 Days Free Subscription

Nta-Star TV Network Ltd. operators of the StarTimes digital terrestrial television (DTT) has tendered apology to its numerous subscribers  over the fluctuating signals which occurred last weekend.

Subscribers in Lagos experienced fluctuating signals in the service delivery over the weekend as a result of the slight technical issues and system upgrade.

The company in a statement said “We sincerely apologize to all our subscribers especially the Lagos subscribers over fluctuating signals which occured over the weekend,this is as a result of slight technical issues and upgrade of our systems.The situation has been resolved and we reassure our subscibers of better quality service delivery.

“To show appreciation to our subscribers for staying with us always, we offer seven (7) days free subscribtion to our active subscribers in Lagos as a compensation for the brief interruption.

“We hold our subcribers in high esteem and sincerely appreciate their cooperation,it shows that the love us and believe in our mission to bring quality entertaining digital pay-tv to every nigerian family at an affordable price

“In this industry, such challenges cannot be completely avoidable,but how spontaneous and pro-active an operator responds, makes the difference. For us, we place high premium on the satisfactions and demand of our subscribers which gives us the competing edge”

StarTimes which was officially launched on the 29th of July 2010,currently operates in 5 states namely: Abuja ,Lagos,Kano,Ibadan and much recently Port-harcourt.The company has also revealed its plan to cover more additional states before the end of 2011.

The Pay TV offers over 36 channels of news,sports,movies,cartoons,music  and local Nigerian channels and foreign channels such as BBC,Aljazeera,Discovery World,MTV Base,Bollywood TV(Indian Movie),Animaux,Fashion TV etc.
