President Buhari mourns APC stalwart, Umar Aliyu

President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of All Progressives Congress (APC) stalwart, Umar Aliyu.

His condolence message is contained in a press statement signed by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja.

According to Buhari, the late Aliyu was a ”talented architect and loyal member of the APC”.

The president appreciated the deceased for always standing by the party and the government, and for particularly dedicating his time and resources to mobilise for candidates during elections.

He also lauded the deceased for going further to “build understanding with the electorate”.

Buhari prayed that the almighty God would grant the deceased eternal rest and comfort his family.
