Ijebu Age Grade Group Elects Officers

The newly elected President (Giwa) of the Arobayo age grade group in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Prince Adelaja Elerunwon has promised to uplift the image of the group.

In his speech after his election, Prince Elerunwon thanked members of the group and promised to do everything to move the group forward.

“I thank you all for the opportunity you have given me and other elected officers. It does not mean that we are the best. We need your support in moving this group forward. I promise to do everything within me to ensure that the group moves up,” he stated.

The election held at the Grand Guest House, along Ijari-Erunwon Road in Ijebu North East Local Government Area of Ogun State was well attended.

Other officers elected are the Otun Giwa (Vice President), Otunba Olalekan Oladele, Eta-Giwa, Otunba Surajudeen Akeem, Balogun Egbe, Alh. Ahmed Kuku (Aboki), Arobayo Gbenga Alude, Secretary and Arobayo Adesola Ogunnowo, Treasurer.

The new officers promised to work with Prince Elerunwon for the progress and development of the group.
