President Muhammadu Buhari has offered condolences to President Teodoro Obiang Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea over the multiple explosions at a military base in Bata.

The explosions on Sunday not only ruined the city, but also caused the death of no fewer than 30 people.

More than 6oo were also injured.

In a statement, Buhari extended heartfelt commiserations to those who have lost loved ones in the devastating incident.

He wished those injured speedy recovery.

He added that the thoughts and prayers of Nigerians are with the people of Equatorial Guinea affected by this tragedy.
