‘Alasari’s Death Not Natural, Says Friend

The death of famous Yoruba movie producer and actor, Ahmed Durojaiye otherwise known as Alasari, was not natural, his bosom friend has said.

The veteran actor had died in an auto crash on his way to Lagos from Abeokuta on Sunday, 20 March, 2011 and one of his close friends, Comrade Femi Jolayemi of Omega Entertainment, disclosed that his late friend was involved in an accident at the same spot on 26 March, last year.

He stressed that the late actor was a very kind and generous person, whose death will continue to linger in the minds of his pals for a very long time.

Jolayemi, who is also an executive member of the Yoruba Film and Video Producers/Marketers Association of Nigeria, said he is not convinced that the death of Alasari was natural.

He said that he is very much concerned about the whole matter, noting that out of the four occupants of Alasari’s car during the accident, he was the only one that lost the battle to death.
