3 Killed In Jos Fresh Attack

Plateau Police Commissioner, Mr. Abdurrahman Akano, has confirmed the death of three persons in a fresh attack by unknown armed men in Mararaban Forom, Barki-Ladi Local Government Area.

Akano said in a statement on Thursday that the attack, carried out on local miners at about 12 midnight, left three dead and many others injured.

According to the Commissioner, one of the deceased, Mr. Gyang Pam was attacked and killed on his farm while watering his crops.

Akano said that no arrest had been made, but that all hands were on deck to bring the perpetrators to book.

He urged members of the public to promptly report any suspicious movements of persons in their areas to security personnel for prompt action.
