Fresh Riot breaks out in another Northern Nigerian town
Despite the facade of calm in riot-wrecked Kaduna metropolis, youths in the Christian dominated Kafanchan, south of the capital, have attacked Muslim Hausa-Fulanis in the area. The riot has also spread to Kagoro, Kachia and other nearby places.
Though there was no official report on number of casualties, some residents in the area said they saw burnt bodies littered on streets of Kafanchan Shop, cars and houses were burnt down .
The rioters from what P.M.News gathered today said they were retaliating the alleged attacks on churches and Christians in Rigasa, Tudun-Wada , Ungwar Sanusi and Ungwar Muazu areas.
A resident, who confirmed the violence in the area said the Christian youths burnt mosques and houses belonging to the Hausa-Fulani in the area.
The muslims, P.M.News also learnt, are fleeing the area. Those trapped are seeking refuge in police stations.
