Sanwo-Olu approves Jokotola as Lagos Tutor-General

The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Mr. Sunday Agboade Jokotola as Tutor-General.

Jokotola was also approved to be the Lagos State Public Service Permanent Secretary.

His appointment took effect from Thursday, 5th August 2021.

A statement issued by the Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola noted that the appointment was in recognition of Mr. Jokotola’s impressive track record and commitment to educational standards across the State.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Jokotola was the Principal of Community Junior High School, Idotun, Ibeju Lekki.

Congratulating the new Tutor General/Permanent Secretary, Muri-Okunola urged him to continue to raise the bar, particularly in improving educational qualities and standards, in line with global best practices.
