Ahmad Alawiye In Triple Celebration

Top Islamic singer, Ahmad Alawiye Alalubarika, is currently planning a triple celebration.

P.M.Entertainment learnt that Alawiye will be celebrating his 20 years on stage, release a new album and launch his website.

The anniversary, according to the singer, is scheduled for 19 June, 2011 at the Waterparks, Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos.

He also said that Wasiu Ayinde Marshal will be leading other top musicians including Lanre Teriba a.k.a. Atorise, Esther Igbekele, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and other Islamic singers such as Alhaji Waheed Ariyo, Wasiu Kayode Sadiq and Aiyeloyun.

Others on the bill, according to him, are Mestura Aderounmu, 9ice, Yemi Sax and Mega ’99.

Alalubarika said further that the album is titled Imole, a seven tracker with tracks like Ope, Tuntun, Alafia and Adun, among others.

Alawiye, who debuted in 2004 with an album titled Alalubarika on Alpha Furtunes Record label owned by the late Muyideen Alade Aromire, said that God has been so nice to him.

“If I look back and see where I was coming from, I know it is time to praise Allah and that is why I am inviting both Christians and top Islamic singers to be part of the celebration,” he said.
