Trial Of Iranian Arms Importer Adjourned

The trial of the accused Iranian, Ali Amagajani, accused along with a Nigerian, Abdulkadri Jega of importing arm into the country last year has been adjourned till 17 May, 2011 because the court could not sit.

The trial of the two accused persons was expected to continue this morning at a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.

They were accused of importing arms and ammunition into the country illegally in July last year.
