The Land : Cast Arrives Nigeria
Hollywood actors that participated in the film, The Land, have arrived Nigeria and are in Lagos at the moment.
On arrival, their first point of call was Silverbird Galleria, Abuja, where the high budget flick was premiered and are now in Lagos to meet their Nollywood counterparts and also do more award-winning films.
The actors, Roselyn Bertland, Melissa Langellier, Mandelyn Felix, Perez Egbi, Kelvin Dowd and Bill Ross, expressed their excitement visiting Nigeria for the first time and described Nollywood as an industry with good potential and brighter future.
The Land is a film produced by Insurmountable Filmworks headed by Dolphina Chikamele Amuneke and co-directed by Don Okolo and Chris Ulasi, parading stars from different countries including Ghana’s Van Vicker.
It is about some devil worshippers who buy a piece of land in 1949 and build their worship shrine on it. They later lost the land for being unable to pay the mortgage. A group of Christian brothers later buys the land on auction and decided to build a church on it.
When the devil sights this development, he comes back in human form and decides to join the Christian worshippers with the aim of re-claiming his ‘possession’ from them.
