…Afrobeat Hour @ Stalium Hotel

Basking in the success of the maiden edition of his monthly show tagged Afro Beat Hour, versatile saxophonist, Roy Olokungboye, is set to stage another edition of the show with his De Afro Classique Projectors Band on Sunday 8 May 2011.

Roy and his band treat fans and other music enthusiasts to different Afrobeat tunes at the legendary Stadium Hotel, Surulere, Lagos, on the second Sunday of every month and this, like the former, is also expected to be attended by other Afrobeat musicians like Y.S. Akinnibosun, Biodun Batik, Seyi Solagbade and G Sax and the Black Ace Band, among others, as guest artistes while the grandfather of highlife music, Dr. Victor Abimbola Olaiya (OON), is expected to stage an appearance as special guest during the evening show that promises to be of quality music and fun.
