Kudirat Aka-Bashorun, the wife of the late activist and former Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) President Alao Aka-Bashorun, has died at the age of 75.
She died on Wednesday 22 September 2021.
Dipo Aka-Bashorun announced her death in a statement he signed on behalf of the family.
The statement reads: “On behalf of the family of Late Alao Aka-Bashorun, we wish to announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Mrs. Kudirat Aka-Bashorun who passed on September 22nd, 2021. Age 75 May her soul Rest In Peace.”
Her husband, Alao Aka-Bashorun who also died at the age of 75 was considered as one of the unsung heroes of June 12.
The late Kudirat Aka-Bashorun is the mother of the foremost TV host of ‘Your View’ on TVC, Morayo Afolabi-Brown.
The TV show host also on Wednesday via her verified Instagram page announced her mother’s passing.
In her post where she shared a picture of her mother, Morayo wrote, “My dearest mother. You came, you saw, you conquered and triumphed. May your soul rest in peace. Amen. 75 years of God’s faithfulness.”
