Niger state terrorists abduct Permsec Garba Musa, granddaughter

Terrorists operating in Niger state have abducted Dr. Ibrahim Garba Musa, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation.

He was abducted along with his granddaughter.

Musa was abducted in his house in Zungeru on Friday night, according to reports.

He was the second senior official of government to be kidnapped, after the commissioner for information, Muhammad Idris.

Musa Garba was in Zugeru for a wedding. He was picked up by the gunmen in the night after the celebration, The Nation reported.

The Secretary to the Niger State Government, Alhaji Ahmed Ibrahim Matane, said he has just been informed about the incident.
