New Appointments In FEDPOFFA, Wins Awards

Authorities of Federal Polytechnic, Ofa, Kwara State, has effected some administrative changes, while it approved some new appointments in the institution.

Mr. Leo Adeyemi, Head of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) department has been appointed as the Director of Student Affairs, while Mr. B.O. Saliu of Mathematics and Statistics department is the new Chief Examination Officer.

Dr. Moshood Fowola, who was the Pre-ND Coordinator replaces Mr. Leo as the SLT helmsman, while Nurudeen Olanipekun is now the new Pre-ND Science Coordinator.

Mr. J.B. Babalola, the erstwhile Director of Centre for Continuing Education is the new HOD, Mathematics and Statistics department, while Mr. Larongbe Afolabi, the former Director of School of General Studies is the new Director of Special Duties.

Meanwhile, the Principal, FEDPOFFA Staff Secondary School, Mr. O.A. Robert, could not hide his joy on the various awards received by his students in recent competitions.

Of particular interest was the recent quiz and essay competitions organised by Ofa Students Union, National Headquarters at Ludlow Hall, Kwara State.

Robert said his students made the school proud as they soar higher in the quiz, essay and mathematics competitions organised for secondary schools in both private and public sectors.
