‘I Will Take Nollywood To Next Level’

Promising movie director, Favour Akakabota a.k.a. Mr. Perfect, has intensified his desire to move the Nigerian movie sector from its present state to greater heights.

The director, who has been enjoying praises from movie practitioners in recent times, courtesy of his eclectic directing skill, has promised to keep the flag flying.

In a recent chat with NollywoodReel, he said “my dream in Nollywood is far beyond the praises I have received so far. My target is to set the pace for others to follow and take the industry to the next level. Apart from directing, I also want to raise fresh Nollywood acts that will represent us well in the industry and on the international scene. I believe with hard work and God, this we can all achieve.”

And in a bid to actualise his dream, Mr. Perfect has concluded plans to throw out a movie audition to search for new talents. “There are good talents out there who can do better than many of our superstars. All what they are waiting for is the platform to showcase their talents. These are people I want to help and give hope to because they are the future of the industry,” he hinted.

The Delta State-born director started his career as a thespian a decade ago, when he featured in the movie, Stolen Document, from where he rose to be a director and the movies he has directed include Unprotected, Lost Opportunity, Campus Mafia and Undisputable Love, among several others.
