Estate Agent Divorces Jealous Hubby

For suspecting her always and trying to restrict her movement, an estate agent, Mrs. Bola Azeez, has sent her husband packing.

An Agege Grade ‘A’ Customary Court, Lagos dissolved her marriage after listening to the parties.

The mother of five had in her petition accused her husband, Mr. Nurudeen Azeez, of denying her freedom and suspecting her unnecessarily.

“He always accuse me of having intimate relationship with my male clients,” she told the court while justifying her request for the nullification of the marriage.

She claimed further that her husband tore the registration form she obtained to become a councillor in their local government.

In his response, Mr. Azeez denied all the allegations, adding that he tore her registration form for councillorship because he was afraid that she will become unmanageable if she becomes a councillor.

He accused the petitioner of having several male friends she described as her clients in the area.

After listening to both parties, the court president, E.B Shokunle declared the marriage dissolved.

He ordered that their last child should be in custody of the petitioner and that the defendant should provide N3,000 every month for the upkeep of the child.

He asked the other children to choose who among their parents they want to live with.
