Stakeholders Condemn Nwabunike’s Action

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has condemned the action of the immediate past chairman of the Council for Regulation of Freight Forwarders in Nigeria (CRFFN), Mr. Tony Iju Nwabunike, who allegedly tore an election result sheet during the just concluded general elections.

In a chat with newsmen, one of the legal advisers and one time National Secretary-General of NAGAFF, Barrister Okwudili Alagbu, said Nwabunike’s action is an embarrassment and disappointment to the maritime industry.

According to him: “There are two sides to a contest; it is either you win or you lose and if you lose, you should display enough maturity.

“It is so embarrassing; it is such a disappointment to the maritime industry and I hope that the law will take its course,” he added.

Alagbu likened Nwabunike’s action to how past and present leaders of CRFFN allegedly violate the law, stating that the one-time CRFFN boss` action, at the polling centre, may mirror how he ran the affairs of CRFFN.”
