Sen. Aliyu Wamakko (APC-Sokoto North Central), on Tuesday, condoled with the people of Illela and Goronyo communities in Sokoto State over the killing of 13 people by terrorists on Monday.

The bandits also kidnapped several persons, including four women from the two communities.

In a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja by his Special Assistant on New Media, Bashar Abubakar, “Wamakko described the attack as ungodly and prayed that the perpetrators will not go unpunished.

“He extended his deepest sympathies to residents of the two communities.’’
