Buhari orders manhunt for killers of Rabe Nasir

Nasir, a former Department of State Security officer was killed in his home in Katsina today by unidentified gunmen.
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered law enforcement agencies to do a thorough probe and bring to justice all those involved in the murder of Dr Rabe Nasir, Katsina commissioner of science and technology.
In a statement Thursday night, Buhari described Nasir’s killing as a heinous and condemnable act.
He said there is no place for such violence in our country.
The President said he is deeply anguished by the tragic killing of this up and coming leader who had served his community, state and the nation with utmost diligence.
“My thoughts are with the bereaved family,” the President said, in the statement released by Garba Shehu, the SSA Media.

He had also worked with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja.
The late commissioner represented Mani/Bindawa Federal constituency for four years.
He was Gov. Aminu Masari’s aide in science and technology from 2015 to 2019 before he was elevated to the status of a commissioner.
