2 Die In Kaduna Plane Crash
A British Pilot and Nigerian Engineer on test run of an aircraft with number N364UZ belonging to a private oil company, Shoreline International crash- landed at Barkallahu village , Opposite National Open University,Kawo Kaduna today.

According to witnesses, the plane that hovered in the air for over thirty minutes crash landed at about 12 noon after it lost control. It took the another 45 minutes after the crash before the Kaduna Fire Service, State Emergency Management Agency ,Federal Road Safety Commission , FRSC and police came to the scene for rescue. At the time they arrived , the plane was almost completely burnt with all crew killed.
Mohammed Musa, the owner of the farm where the plane crashed told P.M.News that he was on the farm when he heard a loud sound as the plane plunged into his farm.
According to him, he ran for his life but returned to the scene of the crash to see how he could rescue the two passengers that were scrambling to come out of the crashed plane.
Musa hinted that a soldier later joined him on the rescue mission but when the flame became too much, they withdrew from the rescue mission and watched all the crew members die in the burning plane.
Meanwhile, Bashir Chedi,the Public Relations Manger of the Kaduna based company that maintained the plane before it went for a test run, Dornier Aviation Nigeria AEP Limited, DANA , informed journalists at the scene , they had completed maintenance on the aircraft and that the plane was on a test flight when the it crashed.
He also confirmed that against the information of four people killed in the crash , it was only the two crew members , the British Pilot and a Nigerian Engineer that died.
While describing the incident as unfortunate, he said he could not give further information on the crash until the Nigerian Civil Aviation Agency and other relevant agencies provide the necessary information.
