Residents Task Amosun

Governor-elect of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has been reminded of his promises to build primary and secondary schools as well as provide the residents of Fakile, Oke-Aro in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, with good roads.

In a statement issued to congratulate the governor-elect on his victory in the governorship election in the state, the Baale of Fakile, Chief Alani Aliu Obadina, on behalf of his chiefs and residents, felicitated with Senator Amosun and other victorious candidates in the elections.

He wished them God’s guidance and wisdom in taking Ogun State to a greater height.

“We want to remind the governor of the promises he made to us during his electioneering campaign in our area.

“He should not forget to build the police post he promised in Fakile in order to enhance the security of the area. We also need good roads, electricity and potable water,” he stated.

Chief Obadina called for the splitting of Ifo Local Government into three local government areas for even development of the area.

“We are ready to support the government in all its endeavours by paying our taxes and rates to boost the development of the state.

“It is our belief that with the success recorded in Lagos and Edo states by the ACN governments, the incoming administration of Amosun will perform creditably in developing suburbs of the state,” he concluded.
