CDC Seeks Support For Elected Representatives

Members of the Ojodu Community Development Committee, CDC, have called on residents of Ojodu to support and cooperate with all elected representatives of the area in order to enjoy dividends of democracy.

Making this call in his remarks during a meeting, Chairman of the CDC, Chief Hakeem Adebayo Saba called on residents to pay their taxes and keep the communities clean.

He also called on the elected representatives to redouble their efforts at transforming the lives of members of the communities by implementing programmes and policies promised the electorate during their electioneering campaigns.

“I want to congratulate all of us for being part of the history of those who participated in elections adjudged by both the local and foreign observers as free, fair and credible.

“I also want to congratulate the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Attahiru Jega, for making our votes count,” he told members.

Saba stated that the massive support given to Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN candidates made the election of Governor Babatunde Fashola, Senator Ganiyu Olanrewaju Solomon (GOS), Hon. Abiodun Faleke and Hon. Lola Akande, possible.
