Monarch Congratulates Tinubu, Fashola, Others, Celebrates 90 Days On Throne

The traditional ruler of Ilasheland in Oriade Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Oba Fatai Akinwunmi, has joined the number of Lagos monarchs to congratulate the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, his predecessor in office and national leader of Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and all candidates of the party for their victory in the just concluded general elections.

The monarch particularly extolled the virtues of Tinubu, hailing the exemplary leadership role he played to ensure success of the party in the south west states of the country in the elections.

The Onilashe, who will be rolling out the drums to celebrate his 90 days on the throne on Saturday, said the celebration is meant to express gratitude to God for His kindness and protection as well as those who supported him during and after the coronation.

Akinwunmi, who said that the ceremony will feature many traditional activities including the conclusion of installation rites by the kingmakers and traiditional dance around the town, among other social activities, described people of hid domain as loving, kind and accommodating and advised them to continue to embrace peace and unity as it had always been in the town.
