My Hubby’s Friend Wants To Sleep With Me —Wife Cries Out

A Lagos-based housewife simply identified as Queen, has narrated how her husband’s best friend, Ifeanyi Okoye wanted to sleep with her even though he pretended to be a family friend.

“He was coming to our house pretending to be my husband’s best friend, but he was busy looking for a way to sleep with me,” she told the court.

Queen made the shocking revelation at the Ejigbo Magistrate’s Court presided by Mrs. S.O. Solebo on what transpired between her and Ifeanyi who is facing a two-count charge of assault and conduct likely to breach public peace.

The mother of four kids told the court that he knew Ifeanyi through her husband and they are living in the same area at 27, Akida Street, Agodo, Egbe, Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria.

She said that not quite long that she accepted him as a family friend because of her husband, he started wooing her for sex.

She said she found it difficult to tell her husband but summoned courage to tell him what he was doing was not right because he was her husband’s best friend.

Queen said that he replied that it didn’t mean anything since her husband will not know.

She said that it was then she warned him not to talk to her about sleeping with her or she will tell her husband.

The embittered housewife said when the pressure from him continued, she told her husband who confronted him, but he denied it.

“Since then, he threatened to deal with her,” she told the court.

On the day he assaulted her, she said that she was returning from work when he met her on the staircase and tore her blouse and bra and was putting his hand into her private part. She said she bit him to free herself.

She disclosed further that the accused started beating and dragging her on the staircase, adding that she sustained injuries all over her body.

She reported the matter to the police and the accused was arrested and charged to court for assault.

The matter has been adjourned till 26 June, 2011 for continuation of trial.
