Nigeria’s Oil Rich State Appoints New Government Secretary

Governor. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State, has appointed George Feyii, a former Commissioner of Finance, Secretary the Rivers State Government.
His appointment came last than 24 hours after Governor Amaechi began his second term in office. He took the oath of office Sunday.

Until his appointment, Feyii was the Chairman of the Inauguration Committee for the governor. Feyii replaced Magnus Abe,who has been elected Senator.
