The Police command in Niger state said it has arrested 77 more miscreants for alleged involvement in youth restiveness in Limawa area of Bosso Local Government Area of the state.
About 100 of the miscreants were arrested last week in Riwama following the killing of a policeman and a businessman.
DSP Wasiu Abiodun, Public Relations Officer of the command in Minna on Monday said that 77 more suspected miscreants were apprehended by the task force team.
They were arrested with dangerous weapons and hard drugs between 28 and 30 January at Tudun-Fulani, Rafin-Yashi, Gbeganu and Soje-A area of Minna.
Abiodun said the command did the mass arrest in an effort sanitise the city.
