PDP wins Kuje Area Council, chairman Sabo re-elected

Returning officer Sule Magaji said Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, the council’s incumbent chairman won re-election with 13,301 votes.
Candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party massively won both the chairmanship and Councillorship elections in Kuje, one of the six councils in the Federal Capital of Abuja.
According to the result declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the PDP won in all the 10 wards in the council.
Returning officer Sule Magaji said Abdullahi Suleiman Sabo, the council’s incumbent chairman won re-election with 13,301 votes.
Sarki Hamidu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), got 7,694 votes to emerge second.
