A new Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP has assumed duty at the Area ‘A’ command, Lion Building, Lagos.

He is ACP Oluseye Odumbaku, a Crime busters.

Odumbaku replaces the former Area Commander, ACP Bode Ojajuni who had been promoted to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police DCP and redeployed to the Force Headquarters, Abuja, Nigeria.

Prior to his promotion from the rank of a Chief Superintendent of Police, CSP to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP, Odumbaku has served in various capacities and formations in the Nigeria Police Force as 2/iC Mopol 19, 2/iC Mopol 48 in River State, Port Harcourt and as the Head of a Crime bursting team at the Special Weapons and Tactical Command of the Nigeria Police Force at Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island, Lagos.

In a Statement, Odumbaku promised to build on the good job done by his predecessor and he appealed to the residents of Area ‘A’ Command, Lagos Island comprising Lagos Island, Victoria Island and Ikoyi to partner with him to provide maximum security for them to enable them continue to sleep with their two eyes closed.
