Buhari shelves UK medical trip, hits Abuja from Kenya (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari appears to have shelved his trip to United Kingdom for medical check-up, as he arrived Abuja on Friday from Nairobi, Kenya.

Buhari had travelled to Nairobi, Kenya to attend the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP).

He was supposed to move from Kenya to the United Kingdom for two weeks medical check-up, according to his spokesman, Femi Adesina.

Adesina had said: “From Kenya, President Buhari will proceed to London for routine medical checks that will last for a maximum of two weeks.”

But the president’s arrival in Abuja on Friday appears to signify that the president may have shelved his trip to the UK.
