EFCC releases names of 11 fraudsters arrested in Kano

The Kano Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested 11 suspected internet fraudsters.

The suspects are Adams Adams Aliyu, Vincent Ellah Sunday, Audu Gabriel, Isah M. Isah, Usman Abdulmumin, Gift Itopa Edward, Joseph C. Ugeh, Sunny O. West, Babajide Usman, Mustapha Muhammed and Babadoke Peter.

They were arrested in a sting operation in Kano, following credible intelligence on their involvement in cyber-related crimes.

Five (5) exotic cars, mobile phones and laptops were recovered from the suspects.

EFCC’s spokesman Wilson Uwujaren said they will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
