Oluomo confirms receipt of 1999 constitution amendment bills

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olakunle Oluomo has acknowledged the receipt of the alteration bills containing the clauses in the ongoing amendments to the 1999 Constitution.
Oluomo announced the receipt of the bills on the amendments at the plenary on Friday.
He explained that the Clerks of the 36 State Houses of Assembly had received the bills from the Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr. Amos Ojo on Thursday.
The Speaker, however, promised that the Ogun State house of Assembly would soon hold a Stakeholders’ forum which would harness all relevant inputs into the amendments to the nation’s constitution.
