Manchester City are back at the top of the English Premier League after beating Burnley 2-0 away from home on Saturday.

Liverpool temporarily moved top after beating Watford 2-0 earlier in the day.

But City, knowing what is at stake stepped up their game and won with two first-half goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan.

Raheem Sterling was instrumental in both goals.

The defending champions opened scoring on five minutes.

Sterling teed up Kevin De Bruyne inside the box, and he kept his cool to find the roof of the net.

Twenty minutes later, the visitors made it 2-0 and sealed the victory.
