Rep Wale Raji wins ticket to contest Epe seat for 3rd time

House of Representatives member, Mr Wale Raji, has emerged APC candidate to contest the Epe Federal Constituency seat for a third term in the 2023 general elections,

The primary election was held at Jubilee Chalet, in Epe on Friday, as INEC officials and security personnel observed the process.

Ninety ad-hoc delegates drawn from 19 wards in the Federal constituency were accredited and they all voted.

Announcing the result, Chairman, Primary Electoral Committee, Mr Wusu Shakiru declared Raji winner after he scored 84 votes to defeat other aspirants .

Mr Segun Olulade, got 3 votes, Mrs Remi Adebowale, 3 votes while other aspirants did not score any vote.

The returning officer described the process as free, credible and fair.

Addressing journalists, Raji attributed his victory to his hard work and pledged to do more for his constituents.

“I appreciates our party leaders, traditional rulers and the youths for their support, standing by me.

“The victory is dedicated to God Almighty and to all my teeming youths and supporters, I appreciate you all.

“I promise never to let you all down. Victory for one is victory for all. Success for one is success for all. Thank you all, ” he said.
