Moment Buhari arrived from Spain to a tense political atmosphere (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday arrived Abuja from Madrid, Spain where he had gone for a three-day official state visit.

He landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport with his team on Friday afternoon.

Buhari’s arrival coincided with a tense political atmosphere he created before leaving for Spain three days ago.

He had met with APC governors and told them that he should be allowed to choose his successor as he is leaving office office next year.

The president’s statement had heat up the polity as it is construed to mean that he wants to impose an anointed candidate on the party.
